Let’s not sugarcoat it—
It feels like our country is falling apart in real time.
The decisions being made by people in power don’t just feel disconnected—
They feel like an attack on everything many of us believe in.
And for a lot of people I know (maybe you too), it’s triggering fear, heartbreak, anger, hopelessness… all of it.
So let’s pause.
Breathe.
And remember this:
Your mindset is not something they get to vote on.
Your peace? Still yours. Always.
Now more than ever, protecting your inner world is not some fluffy self-care idea—it’s an act of defiance.
A radical stand for your power, your clarity, and your sanity.
You can feel devastated by what’s happening AND still choose to rise with intention.
You are allowed to feel it all.
The rage. The heartbreak. The WTF-is-happening-here spiral.
You’re human. Don’t numb it. Don’t spiritually bypass it.
But don’t let it steal your peace either.
Because here’s the truth bomb:
When systems collapse and leaders disappoint, your greatest power is to protect the one thing they can’t touch - your mind, your daily choices, your inner world.
You always have a choice to … come back to your center.

→ Before you open your phone, open your heart.
Start your day with 3 deep breaths, 3 gratitudes, and 1 affirmation:

→ Don’t bypass your anger, grief, or fear.
Write it. Voice note it. Walk it out. Cry it out.
Emotions are energy. Let them move through you—not define you.

→ You don’t need to read every headline or argue every point.
Mute the noise. Limit your scroll. Say “not today” to energy drainers.

→ Light a candle. Step into the sun. Take a dance break. Hug your pet.
Do something small that reminds you the world still holds beauty.
My walks in nature ground me. Bring me peace. Help me to still see all the beauty around me. I cherish those walks. They are essential to my mental and physical health.

→ Speak up. Donate. March. Call. But don’t pour from an empty soul.
You are allowed to rest without guilt.
You are more effective when you are well and stay grounded in the moment.
